En route from Ballymahon to Lanesboro, we spotted a signpost for the Corlea Trackway. Looking for a scenic walk with our dog, Molly, we decided to check it out. Walkway path is a firm gravel path and is surrounded by bog and deep water pools. Pathway brings you to the Celtic-shaped visitor centre and entry is free.
We had the most fantastic individual attention from our guide today who showed us the minute video and an excavated portion of the walkway dating from BC.
