Owner had fire on in range at our arrival. There was constant access to central heating and hot water. Beds were very comfortable. A very enjoyable stay. It was just as comfortable as i remembered. The weather was colder this visit but there was plenty of turf provided for the range and there is a good central heating system with no regulations regarding timesof use. Bread and milk had again been provided and there were cleaning products and toiletries available too.

The information sheet in the house is clear and detailed and the directions to the house on the website are spot on. Thanks again to the lovely, welcoming owners for another lovely visit.

There were cakes and milk etc there when we arrived. If you like peace and quiet then this is the place for you. The scenery is lovely. Would recommend. Kate's cottage is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. It is in a quiet and tranquil spot yet only a few mins drive from the N It takes around 10 mins to drive to the nearby towns of Crossmolina and Ballina. Roughly an hour's drive from Sligo town.

Total peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings yet shops, pubs, restaurants very accessible by car. Hosts couldn't be more kind or helpful. Directions to house from N59 are spot on. Look out for the big house with the black fence for the final turnoff to the cottage! Really looking forward to my next visit! In a very very quiet place. A delightful home with free WiFi on the 'Wild Atlantic Way',an excellent location just a mere stroll from Ballina town centre less than an hours drive from Sligo town. Well equipped and furnished with all the comforts of home making this an ideal base at any time of year. Ballina sits on the river Moy a renowned salmon fishing river whilst boats can also be hired for fishing trout on Lough Conn a short drive away.

Great days out can include Croagh Patrick, Ceide Fields, Museum of Country Life, stroll along the stunningly beautiful beach at Enniscrone or visit Westport which hosts an abundance of music and hospitality. Restaurant yards. Beach 8 miles.
