The main road in Mount Merrion is Deerpark Road, which has two restaurants, a newsagent's, a motor company and engineer, a barbershop, a chemist, a salon, a dentist, a Christian church and a school Scoil San Treasa. The main artery through the area is the N11 dual carriageway.
