Siege of Waterford
Loved the history of the place, Waterford crystal was beautiful, the Museum of Treasure's was very interesting and waterford castle was breathtaking, we would love to visit again We are at the Granville hotel and the food was amazing Friendly staff and great atmosphere Everything is so central and easy to get around. You can also get to tramore and dunmore east within minutes and they were as beautiful Other than that it was very pleasant I love Waterfod and have stayed there in different hotels many a time over the years.
Its such a beautiful place, I love all the little back streets and the way you can ramble all around the town without the use of a car. In the summer you can take the bus to Tramore for the day, and even the bus journey is most enjoyable with the scenery. Waterford is a great City , we stayed in the Granville which was top class. Parking is also very central which is always a good thing. We had a nice night out in Dooleys hotel with live music.
Overall I couldn't fault Waterford , everything in easy reach , very friendly people and just a really good weekend getaway anytime of the year.

If you feel like tucking into good old fish and chips, there's a fish and chip shop at the Prom Arcade in Tramore that serves food to die for. I find it easy to get around Waterford because I tend to use the ring road and use the relevant roundabouts to divert to where I need to be. I'd probably avoid the Quays at rush hour.
A great city to spend a few days especially this time of the year with all the Christmas activities. The jade palace Chinese have a great menu food was fab and service was excellent.
